Become a Paper Hug Ambassador

What Does It Mean to Be a Paper Hug Ambassador?

As a Paper Hug Ambassador, you’ll be matched with a patient who needs your encouragement through heartfelt cards, uplifting notes, letters, and occasional gifts. Your support will last for the duration of their time in the Paper Hug Greetings Kindness Mission Program. We may assign you either an adult or a child, based on our current needs. We strongly suggest that you send at least one card with an uplifting note each week, and small gifts if you are able, as often as you wish!

Please Note

Before applying, please take a moment to consider the commitment involved. Being an Ambassador requires dedication, and we want to ensure you’re ready for the journey. Please do not apply if any of the following might interfere with your ability to participate fully:

  • You have a health condition that may prevent you from fulfilling your commitment.
  • You are a caretaker for someone whose needs might make it difficult for you to keep up with your responsibilities.
  • You are currently facing a personal situation that could impact your
    ability to participate.
  • The financial commitment of sending weekly cards and potentially small gifts is beyond your budget.
  • You expect major life changes, such as moving or having a baby, which could prevent you from fulfilling your role.
  • You are under 25 years old. No exceptions.
